Palm oil fractionation
In palm oil fractionation, in order to speed up the crystallization speed, we usually add seed crystals to the raw materials to help crystallization. The added seed crystals have a higher melting point than the raw materials. There are two ways: one is to add directly to the large tank for separating the raw materials according to the proportion, and then pump into the crystallization tank to cool and crystallize after mixing; the second is to add another crystallized crystal during the crystallization process. Generally, the crystallization time of 100-300 minutes will be shortened, and the yield of liquid oil can be improved at the same time.
The key to adding seed crystals is the ratio of seed crystals to all raw materials and the quality of seed crystals (mainly melting point).
